**Seasonal Job Opportunity:**Christmas Event Assistant - Santa Claus Location: Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum & Gardens, Wexford Contract: Temporary / Seasonal (November - December 2025) Hours: Part-time, evenings and weekends. Pay: €25 per hour This year at Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum & Gardens, experience the magic of Christmas in a place like no other. Nestled within centuries of history, our fairy-tale castle becomes a place of wonder, with festive magic around every corner. We are now seeking a charismatic and joyful Santa Claus to bring the heart of Christmas alive for our visitors. Role & Responsibilities As Santa Claus, you will:

• Welcome families and children with warmth, kindness, and festive spirit.
• Create memorable, magical moments through storytelling and conversations.
• Pose for photos while staying fully in character as Santa.
• Listen attentively to childrens Christmas wishes.
• Work alongside Mrs. Claus, Elves, and event staff to ensure smooth visitor experiences.
• Represent the joy and wonder of Christmas at Johnstown Castle.

About You Were looking for someone who is:

• Warm, approachable, and confident engaging with children and families.
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable in a lively festive environment.
• Able to stay in character with enthusiasm throughout each shift.
• Happy to wear a Santa costume, beard, and boots (costume provided).
• Previous acting, performance, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
