IT Staff is excited to be recruiting two Architects with BIM and Revit experience to join a major Irish government agency responsible for some of the nation’s most iconic buildings. From Dublin Castle to the Custom House, the Four Courts, the National Museum of Ireland and more, this is a rare chance to make a lasting impact on Ireland’s architectural heritage.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will be the same. You’ll be:

• Leading conservation, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects on landmark State-owned buildings.
• Collaborating with specialist craftspeople on historic joinery, plasterwork, and metalwork.
• Producing high-quality AutoCAD drawings and contract documentation.
• Driving projects from concept through to completion, both in the office and on-site management.
• Working alongside a skilled design team to safeguard and reimagine some of Ireland’s most treasured structures.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years’ post-graduation experience, including project/site management.
• Strong design and drawing skills, with proficiency in BIM and Revit
• A genuine passion for historic buildings and an eagerness to contribute to their conservation.
• Conservation experience is a real advantage.

Education & Experience

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A postgraduate qualification in building conservation and/or at least 2 years’ experience working with historic buildings, monuments, or protected structures.

Extra Points If You Have:

• Experience on public or government buildings.
• Hands-on involvement in building conservation projects.
• A proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and deliver results.
