Talent Acquisition Executive

We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Talent Acquisition Executive to join our HR team in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and growing construction business. The Role Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Talent Acquisition Executive will be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process across a variety of positions within the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, engaging and securing top talent while helping to enhance the company's employer brand. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Draft and advertise vacancies across relevant job boards.
• Assist Marketing with creating social media campaigns for recruitment.
• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview processes.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
• Attend careers fairs, industry events and networking opportunities to promote JJ Rhatigan as an employer of choice.
• Support graduate and apprenticeship recruitment initiatives.
• Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare reports on hiring activity.
• Ensure all recruitment activities are carried out in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new employees.
• Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Strong interviewing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A third level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is desirable.
• Experience within construction, engineering, or a technical recruitment environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong teamwork skills
