PLM Implementation Consultant

Kaizen PLM is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Teamcenter specialist to become a key member of our technical team.

As a Siemens Digital Industries Software partner serving customers across the UK and Ireland, we help engineering and manufacturing organisations put better systems behind their products. With an expanding pipeline of Teamcenter projects, we need someone who can take ownership of installation and configuration, help keep delivery on track, and contribute to the technical decisions that make an implementation successful.

The role

Your core focus will be delivering reliable, well-configured Teamcenter environments. Working with our engineers, solution architects and customers, you will:

- Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Teamcenter and Active Workspace.
- Configure data models, workflows, access controls, properties and CAD integrations to meet agreed requirements.
- Take technical ownership of work packages, from planning and implementation through testing, documentation and handover.
- Support project management by estimating effort, tracking progress, identifying dependencies and raising risks early.
- Contribute to customer discovery and scoping workshops, translating engineering needs into practical implementation tasks.
- Help develop reusable deployment methods, configuration standards and clear technical documentation.
- Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced team members.

We see a significant opportunity to use AI tools and automation to accelerate parts of implementation—from scripting and documentation to configuration assistance and test preparation.

We want someone curious enough to explore that opportunity and experienced enough to apply sound engineering judgement. Changes need to be understood, reviewed, tested and traceable, with customer information protected and deployment kept under control.

You’ll help shape this approach and turn useful ideas into repeatable improvements.

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience installing and configuring Teamcenter in customer or production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Teamcenter, its supporting infrastructure and integrations.
- Practical experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, workflows and access management.
- The ability to work independently, recognise when specialist input is needed and follow issues through to resolution.
- Clear communication, good documentation habits and a structured approach to delivery.
- An interest in taking broader responsibility as the business grows.

Experience with NX integration, migrations, upgrades, scripting or deployment automation would be valuable. Project coordination and customer scoping experience would also be a strong advantage—you don’t need to be a full-time project manager, but you should be comfortable helping a project move forward.
