Kerry Position: Full-Time Halcyon Manager Reporting to: General Manager About Us The Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa has recently launched Halcyon - a premium private membership programme designed to elevate wellness and wellbeing for our guests and the local community. Our state-of-the-art leisure space includes a newly upgraded gym, an 11-metre indoor swimming pool, thermal quarters with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and serenity shower, plus a calming wellness studio. Halcyon members benefit from exclusive perks including spa, dining and personal training offers. Role Overview We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Halcyon Manager to lead and grow our Halcyon membership experience. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, driving membership engagement, supporting wellness programming, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations

• Manage daily operations of the Halcyon leisure facilities (gym, pool, thermal area & wellness studio).
• Recruit, train and supervise a high-performing leisure team.
• Oversee cleanliness, safety and presentation standards throughout the centre.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Membership Growth & Engagement

• Act as the ambassador for Halcyon membership - welcoming, enrolling and onboarding new members.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing members and promote member-only benefits.
• Drive initiatives to increase membership retention and satisfaction.

Customer Experience

• Deliver a premium guest experience aligned with our brand values.
• Handle member enquiries and feedback with professionalism.
• Work collaboratively with Spa, F&B and hotel teams to ensure seamless cross-departmental service.

Fitness & Wellness Programming

• Schedule and oversee wellness classes, personal training opportunities and member events.
• Collaborate with trainers and wellness professionals to enhance member value.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in leisure centre or health club management
• Leadership skills with a passion for wellbeing and customer service
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
• Fitness or related qualifications an advantage
