🌍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of innovative flooding and drainage projects for major public and private sector clients.
• Provide technical expertise across multidisciplinary teams — from transport to environmental infrastructure.
• Take ownership of hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, and drainage design.
• Collaborate, innovate, and deliver high-quality results that stand up to scrutiny.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the flooding and drainage team.

🎓 What You’ll Bring

• A degree (Level 8+) in Civil or Environmental Engineering – a Master’s (Level 9) is a plus.
• Professional membership (Engineers Ireland or ICE) and drive toward Chartered status.
• Proven experience in flood risk management, flood defence design, or surface water systems.
• Proficiency in Infoworks ICM; experience with FloodModeller, TuFlow, or HEC-RAS is a bonus.
• The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently — in reports, meetings, and presentations.

🧠 Bonus Skills

• Understanding of nature-based solutions and catchment-scale hydrology.
• Familiarity with CAD, Civil 3D, and GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS).
• Project management experience — keeping quality, time, and cost in balance.
