As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering Team within the Sales and Marketing Department. Position Summary Reporting to our Solutions Engineering Manager the Sales Solutions Engineer will own the delivery of the technical elements of the sale of the Kneat Gx software solution. The successful candidate will work with the Sales and Marketing Teams, closely with our customers, to provide technical input and support, in order to help drive and close sales deals. We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and detail-oriented individual that will be able to deliver technical information in a self-assured manner, both in-person and virtually. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you! Primary Responsibilities The role owns the delivery of the technical sale of the Kneat Gx solution. This requires:
- Being an SME in both the Kneat Gx Software and the Validation Industry to effectively present the value of the solution.
- Working closely with the sales and marketing teams on leads and opportunities with customers.
- Providing technical support to the sales team or directly to the customer, to ensure the customer fully understands the value and benefit of the Kneat Gx solution.
- Owning the delivery of the technical input to the sales process, ensuring value is demonstrated effectively and efficiently.
- Liaising effectively with the sales team, to ensure that the correct technical information is being shared with the customer.
- Overview and maintenance of demos, trial and workshop databases, product information, etc.
- Being a Subject Matter Expert for Kneat products and technology, and its applied use in industry.
- Working closely with the Contract Manager to ensure Proposals, RFP’s and Questionnaires have correct technical and scope information.
- Liaising with the Kneat Professional Services Team, Account Managers (where applicable) and the Process Engineering Team, requesting support and resources where needed and collaborating on developments with existing customers.
- Ensuring the success of customer workshops and pilots through effective process mapping and training.
- Ensuring the solution sold to the customer is technically sound and assisting with the handover process to the project team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from a post-secondary institution with a bachelor’s degree, ideally in Engineering or Quality. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of qualifications.
- Ideally working as a Process Engineer, Validation Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Quality Engineer in a Lifescience company or previously from this background currently in a similar role in a software company.
- Experience or Education in Sales would be a benefit
- Good communicator with customer facing experience a distinct advantage
