Microbiology Specialist

Role: Microbiology QC AnalystLocation: Little Island, Cork, IRL, T45 P663Duration: 12 monthsFully onsite position.Onsite, 5 days a week

• Min 3 years exp as a Microbiology QC Analyst in a Pharma env but ideally 5 or more years.
• Needs to be an experienced individual overall, i.e. other work experience too.
• This is a Senior level role in the team.
• Strong microbiology please (not Chemistry)

Description:

This position is responsible for carrying out tasks and projects related to equipment, lab utilities and testing procedures as required by GMP. Partners with other Departments to ensure that all QC testing activities are completed in an efficient manner.

Key responsibilities:

• QC Material Release & Scheduling Activities.
• QC Key Performance Indicators.
• QC Training – Personal competency & Team development
• QC Documentation Review & Approval
• Site Cross Functional Team’s
• Comply with EHS rules and procedures.
• Delivers on the department Goals & Objectives & Continuous Improvement initiatives .
• Support relevant internal and external site audits as required.
• Maintains and develops knowledge of analytical methods, technology and compliance demands
• Foster a culture of quality, safety and compliance across the Site in line with the Credo

Key requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality or compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Third level Degree in a science or pharmaceutical discipline.

• Demonstrates ability to work with teams and individuals
