About Our Client & The Role
We are exclusively partnering with a highly respected and established insurance brokerage to recruit a dedicated Personal Lines Insurance Broker for their busy office in Tullow, Co. Carlow.
In this role, you will take ownership of a dedicated client book, providing expert advice and top-tier service across Motor, Household, and Travel insurance products. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused insurance professional to join a supportive regional team where you can actively drive renewals, secure new business, and build strong, lasting relationships within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Book Management: Manage a dedicated portfolio, efficiently handling Renewals, New Business, Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs), and general daily policy queries.
- Product Expertise: Provide accurate and tailored advice across Personal Lines products, specifically focusing on Motor, Household, and Travel.
- Retention & Growth: Secure high renewal retention rates across all classes of business while actively selling products to new customers.
- Cross-Selling: Identify and successfully execute cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within your existing client base to maximise portfolio value.
- Customer Service: Consistently demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients.
- System Administration: Operate the Relay system efficiently and accurately to ensure seamless policy administration and compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: You must be currently CPD compliant and hold a relevant industry qualification (APA or CIP).
- Experience: Proven experience managing a Personal Lines desk or handling a busy portfolio of clients within a broking environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the Relay CRM system is highly desirable.
- Attributes: A proactive, highly organised professional with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on client retention.
The Package
- A competitive base salary of €30,000 - €40,000 (Depending on Experience).
