Our client, a leading specialist solutions company based in County Waterford, is seeking a Site CAPEX Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Director, you will lead the delivery of site capital projects, ensuring projects are aligned to global standards and regulations. This role has a strong cross-functional focus, managing a team of engineers while working closely with EHS, Quality, Finance, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction management, the site permit system, and ensure EHS requirements are embedded across all CAPEX activities and third-party contractors.
• Ensure adherence to QMS requirements and quality compliance standards while acting as the SME for regulatory requirements and supporting audits.
• Lead the financial performance of the capital portfolio, including Assets Under Construction, Impairment, CAPEX, OPEX, headcount management, and capital approval documentation.
• Lead and develop the engineering team through performance management, coaching, project escalation, and execution of capital projects.
• Manage the Facility Investment Plan, participate in the Local Capital Approval Board, and support project estimation and capital planning.

Requirements:

• B.Eng. in an Engineering discipline.
• Green Belt or Six Sigma qualification.
• Minimum 8 years' experience leading and delivering CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated environment.
• Strong leadership experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment, with the ability to work closely with EHS, Quality, Operations, and senior management.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with experience reviewing capital expenditure, analysing data, and providing recommendations to support decision-making.
