About the Role

Morgan McKinley are assisting our client, a leading organisation undertaking a large-scale transformation program to recruit a skilled Change Manager to join their Project Management team to lead and deliver a high-profile change and transformation program. This is an initial 12 month assignment, with hybrid working arrangement.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale IT transformation initiatives, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, create actionable plans, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy for the program.
  • Identify risks, barriers, and enablers for change adoption and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Define and track measurable outcomes and benefits of the transformation program.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, public agencies, and industry operators to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Ensure effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders, tailored to their specific needs and concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on the change program impact and progress.
  • Manage the people side of technology delivery, ensuring that impacted individuals and groups are supported through the transition.
  • Design and deliver training, support, and resources to enable successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Foster a culture of openness, adaptability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation of the change program, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Monitor progress, identify issues, and take proactive corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure alignment with overall project goals and governance standards.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading large-scale change and transformation program, particularly in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong background in change management methodologies and tools (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage the people aspects of technology delivery and foster stakeholder buy-in.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within a PMO or equivalent structured project delivery environment.

Desirable:

  • Certification in change management or project management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP, PRINCE2).
