Our Client:
Our client is a leading healthcare organisation operating within the Irish health insurance and healthcare services sector. They work closely with a broad network of healthcare providers and partners to ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, and clinical governance across all services delivered.
Role Overview:
We are recruiting a Patient Safety, Quality & Clinical Governance Lead to join a high-performing medical services function based in Cork. This is a permanent, hybrid role that plays a key part in overseeing patient safety, clinical quality, and governance frameworks across multiple healthcare partners.
The role is desk-based and strategic in nature, suited to a healthcare professional with strong clinical or governance experience who is passionate about quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety at a system-wide level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of patient safety, quality, and clinical governance frameworks across healthcare services and provider networks.
- Monitor, review, and report on clinical quality indicators, patient safety metrics, incidents, complaints, and risk trends.
- Conduct quality reviews, audits, and investigations, supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain oversight of governance structures, risk registers, and compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
- Produce dashboards, KPIs, and reports for senior stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making and quality improvement.
