Project Engineer

Location: Macroom Area (Manufacturing Site)

Role Overview

Due to expansion and internal progression, we are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment within the food and nutrition sector. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Process Engineer will support the delivery of process optimisation, continuous improvement, and capital project initiatives within a specialised manufacturing facility

.

The role will be responsible for capital project delivery, process and facilities troubleshooting, P&ID standardisation and development, stakeholder coordination, and the implementation of engineering solutions to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Production, and external vendors, the Process Engineer will lead and support projects from concept through commissioning and validation, ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, regulatory requirements, and site engineering standard
