Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist for its growing team in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional with planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production, maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive supply continuity and operational performance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the supply of materials to support production and customer demand.
- Create and maintain supply plans using ERP planning tools.
- Monitor inventory levels and take proactive action to minimise shortages and excess stock.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage deliveries, lead times and supply performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, customer service and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain execution.
- Analyse demand and supply data to support planning decisions.
- Resolve supply issues and escalate risks where required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain processes.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and system data.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Production Planning or Materials Planning role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
