About us

We are Nucleo — a single, focused team with deep expertise in Data Migration, Enterprise Asset Management (including IBM Maximo), Reporting & BI, Project Management, and Business Change. We partner with large, asset‑intensive organisations to strengthen performance and operational control. By truly understanding how each client works, we help them run their assets and processes with greater clarity, efficiency, and confidence.

We are a consultancy built for momentum — specialising in data, AI, enterprise solutions, and change delivery across manufacturing, construction, financial services, and utilities. We help organisations turn data into value, stabilise and optimise enterprise platforms, and deliver transformation that lasts.

Based in Dublin 2 and Cork City Centre, Nucleo brings together expert consultants to deliver sharp, tailored solutions across ERP and CRM, asset management, automation, data strategy, reporting, and governance.

Partnership, collaboration, and continuous improvement fuel everything we do — empowering organisations to navigate change and achieve long‑term success.

Our vision is to be the go‑to challenger consultancy for data, AI, enterprise solutions, project management, and change delivery — investing in people, supporting clients, and redefining what great consulting looks like.

Our mission is simple: help regulated and asset‑intensive organisations optimise their people and operations. We show up every day to make work easier, smarter, and more impactful — creating meaningful, lasting change together.

Role Overview

Nucleo is seeking a Senior Analyst with strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise to support the design, development, and optimisation of database solutions across enterprise-level applications. This position is based in Cork.

This role sits within Nucleo’s growing data and enterprise solutions practice, supporting projects that involve Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), reporting, data processing, ETL operations, and end‑to‑end data lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will work closely with application developers, business analysts, and project teams to deliver accurate, secure, and high-performing data solutions that support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and optimise SQL and PL/SQL code to support reporting, interfaces, and enterprise data processing.
  • Create and maintain views, materialized views, indexes, and database objects to enhance application and analytics performance.
  • Work with Oracle E‑Business Suite modules (e.g., Projects, Financials, Supply Chain) where applicable.
  • Perform ETL activities, including structured data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DBAs to support enterprise-wide data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and adherence to best practices in database design and development.
  • Document development processes and maintain version control for scripts and database components.
  • Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of data workflows and systems.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in large-scale or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, database design, and optimisation strategies.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS is a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and structured data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimisation.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and documentation best practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in consulting, enterprise transformation, or complex regulatory environments is a plus aligned with Nucleo’s client base.

Why Join Nucleo?

  • Work with a high-performing team of experts across data, enterprise systems, AI, and business transformation.
  • Opportunity to contribute to impactful projects across diverse industries, from SMEs to regulated enterprises.
  • Collaborative, people-focused culture where employee development is a core priority.
  • Exposure to cutting‑edge solutions including data strategy, AI-driven insights, intelligent automation, data governance, and large‑scale system implementations.
  • A chance to shape how organisations use data to make strategic decisions and improve operational performance.

Diversity & Inclusion

At Nucleo, we believe diverse teams deliver better outcomes. We value different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences — and we foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to do their best work. We’re committed to creating a workplace where individuality is celebrated, opportunities are equitable, and people can thrive as their authentic selves.
