Financial Controller

I am working with a well-established and exciting business in the renewable energy, utilities, and wider energy sector. They are driving change in the zero-carbon space, so it has an ESG slant. With a gold-standard finance team, this role will suit a high-calibre Finance Manager/Controller looking to manage a small team of four.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the month-end process for all UK and Irish entities
• Ensure all reconciliations within the wider team are correct
• Produce variance analysis with commentary for the board
• Plan and coordinate the audit filings and process
• Excellent controls and framework for journals, recs and documentation
• Work on an ERP migration and implementation
• Work with the CFO and the FD on current and future financial decision-making
• Lead a small team, help them develop and grow
• Work on commercial deals and initiatives
• Ad hoc

Profile:

• 4+ years PQE Accountant
• Proven ability to manage a team
• Excellent technical accounting ability
• Strong with compliance - Statutory and tax

On Offer:

• 12-month contract with a view to permanent
• Circa €90k, 20% bonus, 10% pension and VHI
• 3 days in the office
