Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Hands & Feet (H&F) Support Engineer to provide onsite data centre support in Waterford, Ireland. The role involves rack & stack activities, basic networking support, and physical infrastructure assistance to ensure smooth data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rack and stack installations of servers, network, and storage equipment.
• Handle structured cabling, including routing, labeling, and termination.
• Support installation and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment.
• Assist with power connections (AC/DC) and equipment troubleshooting.
• Follow data centre best practices, safety, and operational procedures.
• Provide physical support for hardware moves, replacements, and decommissioning.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in rack and stack installations, preferably within data centres.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with power systems (AC/DC), cable management, and termination.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Good understanding of data centre standards, safety protocols, and procedures.
