Overview
A leading global provider of asset management and investment technology solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to join its Investor Services function as a Transformation Lead.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to take ownership of process improvement and transformation initiatives across Investor Services, with a particular focus on Private Markets and Transfer Agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a transformation lead within Investor Services, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate and improve existing processes.
- Review operating procedures, controls, technology and client deliverables to identify inefficiencies, duplication, manual processes and operational risks.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to design and implement future-state operating models.
- Review key Investor Services processes including investor onboarding, data maintenance, reporting, capital activity, payments and client deliverables.
- Develop clear recommendations and practical action plans for implementing improvements.
- Work collaboratively with Investor Services, Client Operations, AML, Technology and Relationship Management teams to improve end-to-end service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, workflow tools, data analysis and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
- Develop process maps, procedures and implementation materials to support the successful adoption of change.
- Track the impact of improvements using measurable metrics such as efficiency, turnaround times, quality, control and operational risk.
- Support the training and development of colleagues and promote a continuous improvement culture.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience within Transfer Agency, Investor Services or Fund Administration.
- Strong exposure to Private Markets / Alternative Investments is highly desirable.
- Proven experience delivering process improvement, automation, control enhancement, technology solutions or operating model change.
- Strong understanding of Private Markets structures and associated Transfer Agency processes.
- Good knowledge of capital calls, sub-closes, equalisation, distributions, waterfall calculations and investor servicing.
- Experience with Alternative Investment systems such as Investran, Geneva or NTAS would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
- Experience using data, MI or workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and measure the impact of change.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge existing ways of working.
