Realtime Recruitment is seeking a Business Process Engineer to join the Transformation programme in a leading Financial Services client.
This role will support the operations function and focus on analysing existing business processes, designing future-state solutions, and driving operational efficiency through automation, improved user experience, and AI-enabled decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing and analysing current business processes, working closely with stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, and operational requirements.
- Developing subject matter expertise across supported business areas, including processes, systems, data flows, and operational structures.
- Designing future-state services and process improvements that deliver measurable efficiency and productivity gains.
- Supporting the implementation of transformation initiatives, including automation and enhanced digital capabilities.
- Evaluating organisational impacts resulting from new processes or system implementations.
- Collaborating with IT architecture teams and delivery squads to ensure aligned and practical design solutions.
- Providing clear and timely updates to business, product, and process owners.
- Ensuring adherence to risk, governance, and compliance frameworks.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5–10 years’ experience as a Process Designer or Business Process Engineer with a strong track record in process improvement.
- Proficiency with process design tools such as Visio, Figma, MIRO, or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to simplify complex processes and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working across multiple business units and managing competing priorities.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience within financial services (risk experience advantageous).
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively at all organisational levels.
- Solid understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience translating business needs into formal business requirements and functional specifications.
