Employee Benefits Specialist - QFA

Offices available are: Cork, Limerick and Waterford.Hybrid: 2 or 3 days on site. Some travel will be required when visiting client sites.

Salary: €50,000 - €58,000 + 24 days annual leave, pension contribution, annual bonus etc

We’re looking for a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join a well‑established, highly experienced group. The team is growing regionally, and this role is a key part of that expansion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a pensions, risk, or health background who wants to step into a more client‑facing, strategic EB role with plenty of support and training.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading annual reviews and renewals for medium to large corporate clients
• Acting as the main point of contact for your assigned employers
• Managing group risk, pension and (eventually) medical renewals
• Handling auto‑enrolment and scheme participation reviews
• Supporting employers with benefit design queries
• Working closely with the Associate Director and CEO on EB strategy
• Helping improve and streamline EB admin and consultancy processes
• Mentoring EB brokers and supporting their development
• Representing the EB team at group meetings when needed
• Liaising with insurers and service providers to improve delivery
• Attending trustee or pension committee meetings
• Supporting governance and compliance best practice

Who this role suits

You don’t need to be a finished product they’re happy to train and develop you. Ideally you have:

• 2–5 years’ experience in pensions, risk, health, or EB admin
• Experience from Insurance & Risk Consulting / Brokerage Firms or Life Insurance companies, or a strong pension admin background
• QFA as a minimum - is a must
• Interest in further qualifications (IIPM, PMI, PTP, QPT etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in client work
• Ability to work independently as you may be the only EB person in that office
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to get involved in promoting the EB offering locally
