Health & Safety Advisor – €70,000 + Company Car, Bonus & Pension
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a progressive and growing organisation within Ireland’s energy efficiency and construction sector. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) function, including implementation of policies, strategies, and training programmes.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, legislative, and certification requirements while maintaining a strong, positive safety culture.
- Manage and maintain Safe-T-Cert accreditation, including audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Administration teams to integrate Quality, Health & Safety systems with Procore project management software.
- Prepare and issue Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Site-Specific Safety Statements, and Construction Stage Plans.
- Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and alignment with company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and Quality, Health & Safety meetings, providing clear reporting to senior management.
- Deliver EHS training to employees, sole traders, and contractors.
- Support tender submissions and contribute to company objectives and KPI achievement through strong legislative knowledge and best practice.
Requirements
- Relevant Health & Safety degree or professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational, communication, and training delivery skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ISO experience advantageous.
