Early Childhood Educator

We are presently recruiting for an Early Childhood Educator for our clients in Mid Kerry. The successful candidate will foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children, focusing on their developmental, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Support children’s social skills, language development, and early literacy through interactive play and structured activities.
• Observe, document, and assess each child’s progress, adapting methods to meet individual needs.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children’s growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and cohesive learning atmosphere.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and childcare regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in early childhood or crèche settings preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
• First Aid certification is a plus.
