Sales Account Manager

Our Kerry based clients are presently recruiting for a Sales Account Manager. This hybrid, outbound sales role will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers while maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio through outbound sales activity and digital engagement.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Conduct structured sales calls, identify customer needs, and progress opportunities effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, tenders, and acquisitions within the healthcare sector.
• Manage customer contracts, renewals, subscriptions, and service agreements.
• Provide customer insights and feedback to support marketing initiatives and business growth.

Person Specification

• 3+ years’ previous sales, account management, or healthcare experience desirable but not essential.
• Commercially aware, strong negotiation communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; SAP Business One experience advantageous.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement and achieving targets.

This position offers a base salary in the region of €35 – 38,000 (OTE €50,000) with extended holidays, pension and additional benefits
