Senior Bookkeeper

We are recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper / Graduate Financial Accountant for our clients, a leading retail company based in Tralee, County Kerry. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to grow, learn, and make a real impact in a thriving business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of bank reconciliations using modern accounting software.
• Managing accurate and timely reconciliation of creditors and debtors.
• Processing invoices, expenses, and key financial documentation with precision.
• Preparing clear, insightful financial reports for management decision-making.
• Handling payroll confidently and in line with company procedures.
• Posting journals with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end processes.
• Collaborating closely with a dedicated finance team, contributing strong communication and teamwork skills.

What You Bring

• 4+ years’ experience working with computerised accounting systems (Intact experience is a bonus!).
• A qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field — or a recent graduate of ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Excellent bookkeeping and reconciliation skills.
• Essential payroll processing experience.
• A sharp eye for detail, strong organisational ability, and a commitment to accuracy.
