Job Title: Service Manager – R&M Project Location: Castleisland, Co. Kerry Role Overview: RIGHT. Group are a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Company who specialise in M&E services with a significant track record in the Water and Wastewater industries. We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Service Manager to join our R&M project team based from our Head Office in CastleIsland, Co. Kerry. This role is ideal for someone with technical knowledge of the industry, looking to transition from a site or trade background into an office-based position. The Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating service operations, managing procurement and scheduling, and supporting both administration and project delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day service operations for R&M projects.
  • Schedule jobs, track orders, and manage procurement processes.
  • Allocate work to engineers and follow up on job completion and reporting.
  • Liaise with suppliers, confirm pricing, and support invoicing.
  • Help set up and maintain new operational processes and systems.
  • Support small project delivery and ensure smooth running of service activities.
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks and drive improvements in efficiency.
  • Provide support to the wider team as required.

Person Specification:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a relevant role (service, operations, or administration).
  • Technical knowledge of the industry and understanding of site terminology. Not essential, but a strong advantage.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in procurement and scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and drive process improvements.
  • Comfortable liaising with engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ambition to grow into a project management role is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Someone transitioning from a trade or site role into office-based work.
  • Mechanical or Electrical experience a distinct advantage.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Salary: €40,000–€45,000 (D.O.E)
