About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients busy finance team based in Dublin 12. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity where you will get hands-on experience, direct mentorship, and full exposure to the core operations of a modern finance department. Because this role is central to our day-to-day operations and team training, it is a 100% on-site position (Monday–Friday).Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: High-volume entry and matching of supplier invoices and credit notes (3-way matching)
- Supplier Queries: Acting as a primary point of contact for supplier inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner.
- Payment Runs: Assisting senior team members with weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
- Reconciliations: Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Processing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Admin Support: Assisting with filing, archiving, and supporting the wider finance team during month-end closing.What We Are Looking
- ForEducation: A recent qualification (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Location/Commute: Ability to easily commute to Dublin 12 for a 5-day on-site schedule.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with MS Office (particularly Excel) and an eagerness to learn financial ERP software.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent numerical accuracy and strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Great interpersonal skills with a confident, professional phone and email manner.
