Sales Manager
Environmental Services | North Dublin (Hybrid)
A leading and rapidly expanding environmental services company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop and scale its sales function during a critical growth phase.
This is a senior commercial role with real responsibility: leading a sales team, driving performance against ambitious new targets, and securing new business across a broad and diverse client base.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the sales strategy and execution, with a clear mandate to grow revenue and market presence. You will lead a team of sales professionals while remaining hands-on with key accounts, major opportunities and strategic clients.
The business works across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, food production, construction, manufacturing and commercial services ,any organisation requiring environmental services is a potential client.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets
- Own delivery of a newly defined annual sales target and growth plan
- Drive new business acquisition across a wide range of industries and client types
- Manage and develop key client relationships and strategic accounts
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and forecasting
- Implement and refine sales processes, structures and KPIs
- Work closely with senior leadership to align sales strategy with overall business growth
- Represent the business professionally in the market and with major clients
About You
Essential
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leader
- Demonstrated success leading and managing a sales team against targets
- Strong track record of new business development and account growth
- Confident, credible communicator with excellent leadership qualities
- Commercially astute, results-driven and highly organised
Desirable
- Experience within environmental services, waste, utilities, facilities, engineering or a related service-led sector
- Exposure to selling into regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g. pharma, food, construction)
- Experience scaling or professionalising a sales function in a growing business
Working Style & Location
- Hybrid role with some office-based work north of Dublin
- Requires a hands-on, visible leader who enjoys building teams and winning business
- Suitable for someone comfortable operating in a fast-growing, performance-focused environment
