About Your New Job
- As the Electrical Designer, you will develop and release detailed electrical schematics, control panel assembly drawings, conduit models, and related bills-of-material for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- You will design installation and wiring for process instrumentation and control devices, interpreting I/O lists, P&IDs, and customer specifications to ensure all codes and standards are met.
- You will be involved in the design of PLC and DCS control loops, motor controls, VFD circuits, and layout of control panels and digital networks.
- You will verify electrical installations, collaborate with engineers and other design disciplines, conduct design reviews, and provide integrated system designs.
- You will support production, participate in field service work, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What Skills You Need
- Technical degree or equivalent certification in Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
- At least 2 years’ electrical design experience with industrial control systems and process loops.
- Experience with PLC/DCS hardware (Rockwell, Siemens, Delta V preferred).
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, technical documentation, and regulatory codes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP software (Syteline) experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and effective at multi-tasking in a team.
