AV Technical Project Manager

Sound to Light is a leading audiovisual production company delivering conferences, corporate events, product launches and gala dinners across Ireland. We are currently seeking an AV Project Manager to join our team based in our Oranmore office outside Galway City.

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the link between the Sales team and Production by ensuring that events are technically accurate, properly scoped and clearly documented before moving into delivery.

This role sits alongside the Sales team and supports the technical side of the sales process while ensuring confirmed jobs are fully specified before moving into production.

This position would suit someone with a strong background working in technical events, AV production or live event delivery who is looking to move into a structured office based role.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with technical queries from clients

• Advising on AV equipment specifications at quotation stage

• Working with the Sales team to ensure quotations are technically accurate and achievable

• Reviewing event floor plans and advising on practical technical implementation

• Joining client technical calls where required including Zoom testing and webinar setup

• Creating and reviewing equipment picking lists to ensure jobs are correctly specified

• Acting as the link between Sales and Production for technical queries

• Participating in pre production discussions before events move into delivery

Requirements

• Strong background in audiovisual production, live events or technical event delivery

• Good understanding of conference AV including sound, video and lighting systems

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Experience with Rentman or Current RMS is an advantage
