Our client are a leading civils contractor who are looking for a Commercial Manager for their energy and water sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing and approving commercial agreements and documentation to ensure the successful delivery of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret contract documentation to ensure full compliance and identify any discrepancies or risks.
• Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts, valuations, and reconciliations to support effective contract management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Measure and value completed works, submit payment applications, and manage interim and final accounts.
• Ensure subcontractor and supplier agreements are issued and managed in line with project timelines and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records relating to delays, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence to protect company interests.
• Support the preparation and management of contractual claims and cost allocation processes.
• Attend project and progress meetings, providing commercial and operational updates where required.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and report concerns or recommendations to management.
• Handle confidential company and client information responsibly while supporting continuous improvement and team development.

Key Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Experience with Public Sector Contracts.
• Full clean Irish/EU Driving license
• Eligible to work in Ireland
