Our client are growing their team in the West of Ireland and are seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This role will involve working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor while also collaborating with a wider team on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Support the procurement process, including issuing tender queries, analysing returns, and preparing tender reports
• Measure and value works in progress, including site visits and progress assessments
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and assist in identifying and managing variations
• Contribute to cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control of projects
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are met
• Support contract administration duties in line with project requirements
• Assist in risk management and value engineering exercises
• Maintain accurate records of project financials and documentation

What you’ll bring:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop
• Motivation to achieve chartered status
