Talbot Group is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Children's Disability Residential Service in Stratford-on-Slaney.

This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive team where person-centred care, dignity, independence and quality of life are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll play a key role in supporting children with intellectual disabilities, ABI and/or autism, helping them achieve their personal goals while providing high-quality clinical and emotional support.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
  • Support residents to achieve their personal goals and maximise independence.
  • Work closely with families, MDT colleagues and other professionals.
  • Monitor health and respond appropriately to medical needs.
  • Manage medication safely in line with professional and Talbot Group standards.
  • Complete clinical assessments and nursing procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Promote privacy, dignity, choice and respect at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with the Intellectual Disability or Mental Health Division of the NMBI register, or eligible for registration.
  • Experience in residential, respite or day services supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Knowledge of person-centred planning and relevant clinical policies and legislation.
  • Knowledge of HIQA National Disability Standards.
  • A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
