Then this People Partner role at our Galway site could be a great fit 👇
As our People Partner, you will be the go-to HR contact for managers and employees on site. You will support day-to-day HR topics, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, HR operations, and people projects.
You will work under the responsibility of closely with the Global HR Manager while taking ownership of local HR delivery. This means being practical, approachable, organised, and ready to jump in where needed.

🔎 What you’ll do
In your day-to-day role, you will:
- Be the main HR point of contact for managers and employees at our Galway site.
- Support managers with practical advice on people topics, including performance, development, engagement, employee relations, and day-to-day HR matters.
- Manage employee relations cases with fairness, confidence, and good judgement.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract, recruit, and onboard great talent across different teams.
- Help create a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new joiners.
- Keep HR operations running smoothly, including employee data, payroll inputs, HR documentation, and people processes.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with Irish employment legislation, internal policies, and TOPPAN Security standards.
- Support organisational change, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bring ideas, energy, and a hands-on mindset to help make the Galway site a great place to work.

- You enjoy working with people, solving problems, and supporting managers in a practical and positive way.
- You know how to build trust, listen carefully, and give clear advice. You can balance empathy with accountability, stay calm under pressure, and handle sensitive topics with professionalism and discretion.
- You like variety, enjoy being close to the action, and feel comfortable handling many different topics at the same time.moving between employee relations, recruitment, payroll inputs, HR administration, projects, and manager support.
- Most importantly, you enjoy being part of a team. You bring curiosity, positive energy, and the desire to grow while helping others grow too.
What we’re looking for
You will ideally bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong experience in employee relations and case management.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, operational, or blue-collar environment.
- Good knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail.
- A pragmatic, confidential, and solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence working with managers and employees at different levels.
Nice to have:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience supporting multi-site organisations.
- Experience with HRIS tools or people analytics.
- Experience working with senior operational leaders.
- Exposure to workforce planning, change management, or HR projects.

Additional information
- The role is based at our Galway site.
- Occasional travel, including international travel, may be required.
- You must have, or be able to obtain, a valid passport.
- You must be legally eligible to work in the country where you are hired.
- Compliance with TOPPAN Security policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems is part of the role.
