Senior Industrial Projects Manager

Mission

• Global Training & Co-ordination of Vision Process PTM Function to ensure consistent application of Industrial Project Management with particular emphasis on Projects that have to be deployed across multiple Production Sites.
• Facilitate good Process PTM engineering collaboration between Multi-Site Project Activity and Vision Development Centres.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Specific Site Project Teams is responsible for Industrial delivery to P2/P1/P10 projects in terms of scope, timing, cost and risk management through management of Process PTM Portfolio Team
• Support in Design Review 0 (DR0) milestone Industrial definition (Resources & Equipment estimates).
• Manage and coordinate a pool of Process Project Team members to ensure the delivery of Industrial deliverables for P2/P1/P10 projects in terms of scope, timing, cost and risk management along with adherence to Valeo projects delivery process compliance (CLEAN, IProM, STR etc)
• Define Medium Term Planning (MTP) requirements for the Portfolio team
• Ensure process engineering tools deployment and level of compliance within the portfolio team
• Train team on new standards and tools
• Check standards deployment within projects
• Development of continuous improvement plans within the portfolio
• Define and Manage Portfolio budget targets
• Coordinate and manage cost saving initiatives within the portfolio of projects
• Review and approve project budget inputs
• Manage and track portfolio projects timing and milestones
• Develop, Encourage and promote teamwork mindset within the PTMs in working within their projects and all functions within the organization
• Develop and deploy lessons learnt & best practices in the Process PTM Team
• Develop and deploy a high level portfolio dashboard for supporting communications to Senior Management
• Provide Technical Input/Direction to RFI/RFQ/CAA Processes
• Ensure close engineering collaboration with all relevant Production Sites Teams in the delivery of the Industrial Process.
• Ensure clearly defined Process PTM communications established for Projects spanning across multiple Sites
• MTP Headcount and Budget Planning in conjunction with R&D, Finance and each of our Site/Activity Managers

Education

• Degree in Engineering or similar
• Project Management Certification

Professional Experience

• 10 Years in Methods/Process/Manufacturing engineering management or Industrial Project Management
