About The Role
The Payroll Administrator will assist with the accurate and timely delivery of payroll-related activities, employee query management, reporting and general payroll administration. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of weekly Irish payroll for approximately 600 employees.
- Review expense claims, identify discrepancies and ensure payroll records are complete and accurate.
- Liaise with managers in relation to payroll queries and required information.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support payroll administration, reporting and related compliance requirements.
- Prepare payroll reporting for Irish Revenue and other relevant reporting requirements as required.
- Assist with the processing of UK out-of-pocket expenses.
- Provide support to the wider payroll team with ad-hoc duties and general payroll administration.
- Previous payroll experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines in a busy environment.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive, adaptable and team-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn, develop and contribute positively to the payroll function.
The successful candidate will receive structured training on our payroll processes, internal systems and reporting requirements. As confidence and experience develop, the role will provide exposure to a wider range of payroll activities, including Irish payroll, UK payroll support, expenses processing, statutory reporting, month end journals.
