Financial Planning Analyst

Location: Waterford

Compensation: up to 75k basic plus pension and health

Our growing manufacturing client is looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join their Group Finance function. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and liaise with a global finance team. You will play a key role in the commercial and strategic success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting/reforecasting

- Develop multi-entity and Group budgets, variance analysis and cost optimisation

- Financial Reporting: create performance dashboards, track key financial metrics, and highlight trends/insights

- Support strategic initiatives by conducting in-depth analysis of data analytics, evaluating potential investments, and assessing the financial impact of new projects

- Business partner with key stakeholders (internal/external) and support ad-hoc projects as required

Key Skills:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with minimum 5 years' industry experience

- Skilled in financial modeling (Excel, Power BI) and accounting (SAP/ERP) software(s)

- Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders at senior level

- Highly motivated, results and data driven individual
