Junior Accountant

Location: Dublin City Centre

Salary: €35-40k basic plus pension, healthcare

Type: Full-time, 18 month contract

We’ve partnered with a renowned insurance company who are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their Dublin City team. This maternity cover contract will the successful candidate involved in AP, AR and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts payable
• Managing bank accounts on a daily basis
• Analyse bank account transactions for postings to the GL
• Perform reconciliations as part of payment processes and month end
• Assist internal and external auditors
• Ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills

• 1-2 years experience in similar role, insurance industry experience is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
