Job Description – Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager OpportunitiesCorporate Tax | VAT | Personal TaxHybrid Working (3 Days On-Site / 2 Days WFH)

A long-established and fast-growing accountancy practice is seeking to expand its tax team with several key hires across Corporate Tax, VAT, and Personal Tax. Positions are available at both Manager and Senior Manager levels, offering excellent opportunities for career development within a supportive and reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities (dependent on specialism and level):

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of sectors, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
• Review and oversee tax returns, computations, and technical work prepared by junior team members.
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support, identifying opportunities and risks for clients.
• Lead client meetings, build strong relationships, and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development activities including proposals, presentations, and networking.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop junior staff to support their ongoing professional growth.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with relevant experience in Corporate Tax, VAT, or Personal Tax.
• Proven experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within a professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a collaborative team.
