Aran Sweater Market is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Galway Store. In this role, you'll work closely with the Site Manager to lead a high-performing team, achieve sales goals, and uphold the exceptional standards our brand is known for. Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you'll take on a variety of important duties, including:
- Driving Sales & Performance
- Partnering with the Store Manager to meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
- Analyzing sales data to create actionable strategies that motivate the team to achieve results.
- Marketing & Visual Merchandising
- Executing marketing campaigns and ensuring compliance with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Creating attractive displays to enhance customer engagement and boost sales.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Coaching and mentoring staff to enhance their skills in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Building a positive and motivated team culture focused on achieving consistent results.
- Compliance & Store Standards
- Ensuring adherence to store policies and addressing any concerns in collaboration with senior management.
- Maintaining a safe and secure store environment by implementing loss prevention measures.
- Inventory Management
- Monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and managing stock discrepancies.
- Collaborating with management to resolve inventory challenges promptly.
- Store Security & Closing Procedures
- Securing the store at the end of the day, including locking up, setting alarms, and conducting safety checks.
- Preparing the store for the next business day to ensure smooth operations.
- Administrative Tasks
- Managing accurate records of sales, inventory, schedules, and employee details.
- Assisting with HR responsibilities, such as onboarding new team members
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience in a retail or supervisory role, minimum two year experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A results-oriented approach with a passion for working in a dynamic retail environment.
