Grade IV Talent Specialist

Reports To: Talent Partner/ Senior HR Business Partner / HR Director

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Avista is seeking a highly organised and proactive Talent Specialist (Grade IV) to support the delivery of a high-quality recruitment service across our organisation. Working closely with hiring managers and Talent Partners, you will manage the recruitment journey from vacancy approval and candidate attraction through to pre-employment checks and onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline (Desirable)
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding or HR administration (Essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating interviews and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Essential)
  • Knowledge of GDPR and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment campaigns, job advertisements, shortlisting and interview scheduling.
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage pre-employment clearances, including Garda Vetting, references, Occupational Health assessments and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA, GDPR and organisational requirements.
  • Issue contracts and support candidates through onboarding and induction.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, reports and performance metrics.
  • Register new hires for Corporate Induction and monitor onboarding surveys.
  • Prepare recruitment files for audits and inspections.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within recruitment and HR processes.

Travel:

  • This role will be based in Limerick and will require travel to Dublin on occasion
