Where heritage meets innovation - and people drive performance.

An established and highly respected Irish manufacturing business, with deep roots in Cork and a strong reputation for quality, is seeking a Head of Operations to join its Site Leadership Team.

This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for plant operations and supply chain, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, lead high-performing teams, and drive the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

As Head of Operations, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations and supply chain, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Set and deliver on key business performance targets, proactively addressing risks and opportunities
  • Inspire and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Drive capacity planning and future growth strategy
  • Foster strong collaboration across all functions, aligning teams to shared goals
  • Lead and support strategic and CI initiatives, from concept through to execution
  • Build a culture of engagement, accountability, and trust

About You

You are a people-first leader with a strong operational background and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will bring:

  • At least 8-10 years’ manufacturing experience, ideally in a production leadership role
  • A degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or similar)
  • Proven experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement programmes
  • Strong knowledge of operations, supply chain, and performance metrics
  • A track record of leading teams, driving change, and delivering results
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills

Why This Role?

  • Join a business with a rich heritage and strong future vision
  • Be part of a high-impact leadership team
  • Shape both strategy and culture on site
  • Lead meaningful change in a people-driven environment

If you’re ready to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.
