About the Role
Structural Design Engineer to work in a design team under the guidance of an experienced Senior Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Be proficient in the use of relevant technical analysis and design software.
- Undertake engineering analysis and prepare design calculations for structural engineering projects.
- Deliver, as part of in-house team, general arrangement and reinforcement detail drawings. This involves liaison with REVIT & CAD technicians to produce drawings that reflect design outputs.
- Provide technical support to include report writing and presentations.
- Co-ordinate with sub-consultants and specialist designers / subcontractors.
- Mentor and coach graduate / junior engineers.
- Participate in design and site meetings.
- Carry out site inspections.
- Participate in project stage reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum BEng Hons degree in civil/structural engineering
- Ideally 4-5 Years' post qualification experience
- Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience
