Construction Site Manager

BHA Construction are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a high-quality residential housing development. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong residential background to play a pivotal role in shaping a flagship housing scheme.

Key Responsibilitie

• sManage the full construction lifecycle of the residential development from groundworks through to handover
• .Plan, monitor, and drive the site programme to ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved
• .Champion a strong safety culture on site, ensuring full compliance with regulations, company policies, and all relevant legislation
• .Maintain rigorous quality standards across all trades and workmanship, conducting regular inspections and snagging to ensure homes are delivered defect-free
• .Lead, motivate, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and trades, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
• .Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their work is delivered to specification, schedule, and budget
• .Work closely with the Contracts Manager and Commercial team to monitor site costs, minimise waste, and report on progress
• .Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and local authorities
• .Produce accurate weekly progress reports, site diaries, and documentation for the Contracts Manager and senior leadership
• .Ensure adherence to NHBC/LABC standards, building regulations, and any other relevant statutory requirements

.Essential Skills & Experienc

• eProven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments
• .Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and standards
• .Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
• .Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
• .Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project programming
• .Proficient in Procore and construction management software
