Senior Site Manager

BHA Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Site Manager to lead delivery of a new residential development in Waterford**.** This is a key site-based leadership role within one of Ireland’s fastest-growing construction companies, offering a clear path to becoming a Contracts Manager within 18 months for the right ambitious candidate.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of day-to-day delivery on site — driving programme, quality, and safety standards, while coordinating subcontractors, design teams, and internal resources to ensure the successful completion of each phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to BHA’s standards.
• Lead weekly site coordination meetings with subcontractors and the design team.
• Track progress against programme and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.
• Ensure full compliance with BCAR, H&S, and Quality Management processes.
• Work with the Contracts Manager and QS to manage budgets, variations, and progress claims.
• Provide strong leadership and mentoring to site engineers, foremen, and subcontractor teams.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in a site management role, ideally in residential developments.
• Proven track record of delivering multi-unit projects to completion.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction sequencing, finishes, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress into a Contracts Manager role.
