Sales Manager
Job Description
Posted on: June 4, 2026
Who We Are
Blue Mountain builds the asset management and calibration software that life sciences manufacturers rely on to keep equipment validated, compliant, and inspection-ready. When a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device company has to prove to the FDA or EU regulators that every instrument is calibrated and every asset is maintained, our platform is how they do it.
We're now in our most ambitious chapter yet. With a major investment from Five Arrows — the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co — and the recent acquisition of CompuCal, we're expanding across Europe and building the clear category leader in regulated asset and calibration management. This role sits right at the center of that growth.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in accelerating growth, developing new market opportunities, and helping shape the future of a company positioned for significant expansion and long-term success.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders, including plant managers, engineering leaders, quality leaders, operations executives, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Understand customer challenges related to compliance, asset management, calibration, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver compelling business cases that demonstrate measurable operational and financial value.
- Lead opportunities from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, and tailored customer solutions.
- Develop expertise in industry regulations and quality requirements, including GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU regulations, and data integrity standards.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience with quota-carrying responsibility.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud solutions, engineering technology, CMMS, EAM, MES, or related solutions.
- Experience selling into regulated industries
- Ability to understand customer operational challenges and connect solutions to business outcomes.
- Knowledge of asset management, calibration management, maintenance systems, quality systems, ERP integrations, or manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong business development capabilities.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Resilient and adaptable in complex sales environments.
What You'll Get
- The stability and resources of a profitable private equity-backed organization
- Exposure to global customers across highly regulated industries
- The opportunity to help shape products used by leading life sciences organizations
- Career growth opportunities within an expanding international business
- Direct impact on innovation and company success
- A culture that values initiative, ownership, and continuous improvement
Travel & Location
- Approximately 25–50% travel across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Attendance at customer meetings, industry conferences, and company events as required.
