Join us and be part of something extraordinary. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Private Equity Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Private Equity team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of integrity, client focus, and operational excellence aligned to BNY’s principles.
  • Oversee end-to-end fund and client accounting services for complex Private Equity funds, including calculating net asset values (NAV), fund performance, expense allocations, and client reporting.
  • Direct cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or atypical transactions; resolve escalations and review team outputs for quality and completeness.
  • Regularly interact with clients to address questions, resolve multifaceted issues, and draft high-quality reports that clearly explain fund performance and accounting processes.
  • Evaluate the impact of new accounting regulations and standards on fund accounting practices; provide input to methodologies and oversee specialist review functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing Service Improvement plans, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting issues and develop robust solutions that align with BNY’s strategic goals.
  • Support career growth of team members through structured feedback, coaching, and opportunities for learning and advancement.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Strong leadership experience with supervisory or small-team people management responsibilities.
  • Private Equity and fund/client accounting expertise; experience in Financial Services or Banking is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting software; hands-on experience with Investran and Geneva required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; ability to review complex work and guide methodologies.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
