General Manager – Kerry
(Monday to Friday - 9-5:30PM)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to join an established, service-led organisation in Kerry.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for day-to-day operations, financial performance, people, facilities, administration and overall service delivery.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards, driving operational improvements and creating a positive environment for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage financial performance, budgets, workforce planning and resources.
- Lead, motivate and develop teams across the organisation.
- Oversee facilities, housekeeping, catering, administration and front-of-house operations.
- Drive service improvements and operational initiatives.
- Ensure strong compliance across Health & Safety, GDPR, HR and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Report to senior management/Board on performance and key developments.
- Promote a culture centred on quality, dignity, respect and excellent customer experience.
The Person
- Significant experience in operations or general management.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Excellent people leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of compliance, Health & Safety, GDPR and HR processes.
- Highly organised, proactive and capable of working autonomously.
- Experience in healthcare, nursing homes, hospitality/hotels or another service-led environment would be advantageous.
- Relevant third-level qualification or substantial relevant experience.
- Experience with nutrition, kitchen management and HACCP would be beneficial.
