Dental Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join the team at Smiles Dental Cork on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Part Time: 28 hours per week 7 hour shifts across 4 days flexible during the week but weekends required Established team and long standing patient base The Role As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and in delivering an excellent experience for our patients. Your Typical Day Will Include

• Meeting and greeting patients, providing a positive first impression
• Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, and updating patient records
• Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the daily running of the practice
• Making patients aware of dental services and offers
• Handling payments
• Accessing sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality

About You We are looking for someone who:

• Can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Has previous administration or reception experience
• Is personable, positive, and enthusiastic with a strong customer focus
• Is confident using Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Has SOE/R4 experience (preferred but not essential)
• Has strong communication and organisational skills
