Design Assurance Engineer

Job Description A Design Assurance Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime, on-site role on an initial 12-month contract. The Design Assurance Engineer will act as an extended team member on a PDP Project, representing the Design Assurance function and reporting indirectly to the quality lead on the project. Role of this position

• Responsible for preparing test method validations, design verification and shelf-life protocols/reports.
• Will have expert knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for product design, development, transfer, and commercialisation activities.
• Collaborate with various departments both internally and externally to build strong partnerships.
• Provide Quality input into new product development, process improvements, and change control.
• Additionally, you will support cross-functional teams in designing protocols to ensure that new products or product changes are adequately evaluated and tested according to standard requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in a relevant Science, Engineering or other technical discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in a medical devices or related environment desirable.
