General Accountant

CGN Europe Energy Ireland Limited is currently looking for a general accountant to join the finance team in Dublin. You will be responsible for our Republic of Ireland portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

Accounting:

• Responsible for month end close and year end close of ROI entities.
• Responsible for monthly end financial statements and reporting of ROI entities.
• Responsible for initiating and tracking the relevant procurement procedures of ROI entities.
• Responsible for reviewing the accounting in UPM, bank reconciliations and preparing cashflow management.
• Responsible for providing monthly statutory financial statements or financial information to the stakeholders of ROI entities.
• Responsible for providing the monthly financial data and information to CGN Group.
• Responsible for the statutory year-end audit and tax calculations for ROI entities, and the annual Jiuqi close to CGN Group.
• Responsible for managing the regular tax returns, filing and payment for each company.
• Responsible for the organization and coordination of the Group's regular tasks in Douvan.
• Ownership of entity related payment
• Provide necessary financial input for budget and other departments

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or any relevant discipline
• ACCA or ACA qualified preferred but not necessary
• Organisation and multi-tasking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, excel-based analysis
• Fluent in English
